The dates for the summer institute for the 2022 cohort have been confirmed as 18 July – 19 August 2022
- In 2022 we will be delivering the summer institute through a blended learning approach with the following structure:
- Week 1: Online learning from home
- Weeks 2 – 4: Residential in person teaching at the University of Manchester
- Week 5: Online learning from home
- You are required to attend every day of teaching. Absences will only be approved in very exceptional circumstances. All absences must be recorded and all requests must pass through the programme management team
- We hold extracurricular activities, such as regional dinners, for you to get to know others in your region, and Q&A sessions with Frontline’s chief executive, Mary Jackson
- We hold wellbeing activities, such a mindfulness sessions and rounders, to help you unwind after intense days of teaching
- Relevant support and reasonable adjustments will be provided for those with a disability, long-term health condition or specific learning difficulty

Hi, are there any updates with regards to the summer institute teaching delivery. In terms of organising the appropriate child care it would be really helpful to get a sense of what the structure may look like this year. Thank you
